Anti-Static & ESD Resin Flooring
ACL Industrial Flooring has supplied and installed anti-static systems in controlled environments across the UK for over 20 years. We’ll help you balance safety, specification, and budget with confidence.
Protect sensitive equipment and personnel with conductive and dissipative resin flooring designed to safely control electrostatic discharge.
Conductive vs Static-Dissipative Flooring
Static-Dissipative: Safely dissipates low-level charges — suitable for electronics and general ESD zones
Conductive Flooring: Directs charges quickly — used in high-sensitivity or ATEX-rated areas
Why Choose ESD / Anti-Static Flooring?
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection
Prevents damage to sensitive electronic components
Personnel Safety
Reduces the risk of sparks in volatile or hazardous environments
Complies with IEC & BS Standards
Meets industry regulations for resistance and conductivity
Seamless & Easy to Maintain
Joint-free surface improves hygiene and durability
Durable Under Heavy Use
Withstands trolleys, equipment, and foot traffic
Tailored Conductivity
Available as static-dissipative or conductive, depending on requirements
How It Works – Installation Process Overview:
Surface Preparation: Grinding, repairs, and cleaning to create a stable base
Copper Tape Grid Installation: Ensures conductivity to earthing point (if required)
ESD Primer Application: Bonds the conductive layer to the concrete substrate
Conductive or Dissipative Body Coat: Typically epoxy or polyurethane-based with carbon fillers
Topcoat (Optional): Adds colour uniformity, slip resistance or gloss/matt finish
